Dungeons & Bosses

Loot Legends currently boasts over 200 dungeon levels. With each dungeon level attempt being unique. Dungeons are procedurely generated with unique features, loot, enemies and gear each playthrough. Dungeons can be played through even after clearing them to grind for better loot and experience points.

Every 20 dungeon levels you'll enter a new environment. Every 20th dungeon features an environment boss that is significantly harder than all the bosses from previous dungeons. As you progress towards the 20th dungeon of each environment, you'll encounter lesser bosses along the way as well.

As you dive deeper into Loot Legends dungeons, you can expect to encounter a wide variety of gameplay elements, such as:

  • Bosses - Powerful enemies that must be defeated to clear a dungeon.

  • Loot Drops - You can find loot in wooden boxes, by defeating enemies, opening treasure chests, and a wide variety of other ways in a dungeon. Make sure to explore everywhere so you don't miss out on valuable loot!

  • Traps - Explosion plates, spikes from the ceiling, freeze pools, incendiary torches, and much more. You'll continue to encounter more and more formidable traps at random as you progress through harder and harder dungeons.

  • Arenas - Arenas reward you with gold, loot and gear once you clear them. They're unique rooms that sometimes appear in a generated dungeon where you'll battle waves of enemies.

  • Treasure Rooms - Oftentimes these require a key to open - you can buy keys from in-dungeon NPCs or randomly find them throughout the dungeon. Treasure rooms often have rare loot and gold.

  • NPCs - There's a variety of NPCs you can encounter randomly throughout dungeons, such as merchants that sell useful consumables to help you clear the dungeon, NPCs that give you gifts, and more.

  • Secret Areas - As you progress through a dungeon, your map may show a dead end. Don't forget to fully explore these areas! They sometimes hide a secret such as a hidden passageway that leads to exceptionally rare loot.

  • Destructibles - Boxes, barrels, crates and more - You'll encounter a variety of destructible environments throughout dungeons. These destructibles often contain gold or loot!

  • Soulbinding Shrines - When you leave a dungeon without using a town portal before clearing it or die in a dungeon, you'll lose all the gear you've collected unless it's been equipped to your character or soulbound. Soulbinding shrines appear at random through dungeons and allow you to keep the gear you've found even if you die or leave a dungeon early.

  • Enchantment Shrines - Enchant your weapons and armor at enchantment shrines with enchantment stones to permanently improve their stats.

  • Thematic Interactables - Magical towers, shrines, and more - you'll find a number of thematic interactables throughout dungeon environments that give you temporary buffs to help you progress.

  • Power crystals - Rarely, you'll find power crystals spread throughout a dungeon. Picking these up automatically give you a minor, but permanent stat boost to whatever stat the crystal is specific to. These can be attack power crystals, defense power crystals, and more.

  • & more - Dungeons are a living, dynamic, and engaging core mechanic of Loot Legends with plenty to explore and keep you busy. As you progress through harder and harder dungeons, you'll encounter new gameplay mechanics and difficulty elements!
